Karamoja Music

 Karamoja is a region in Uganda the pearl of Africa containing 9 Districts of Moroto, Kotido, Nakapiripirit, Abim, Kaabong, Napak, Nabilatuk, Amudat and Karenga.

We speak Nga'karimojong languages with different dilects, Karamoja is blessed with a culture which is very rich in many ways ranging from the food eaten, songs and the different cultural dances in the different districts with one main called "edonga" which is done and practiced by everyone.

In the current situation, Karamoja people have joined the music industry where there exists competition with other musicians and Djs with MCs from different parts of the country.

On the 4th and 5th J. One of the Youngest artist of the country by the name of Fresh Kid visited Karamoja and featured a number of musicians (Evy Treyz who also is a Janzi awards winner of 2021, Ayonce the only finest Female Karamoja artist I the region, and Djs including The youngest Dj in Town by the stage name Dj Rizi Bwoy 256 MCs in the two districts he visited of Kaabong and Moroto District.  He visited 88.7 ateker moroto Fm Hosted by #Promoter_Jemo From #Jemoz_Promotionz in Karamoja where he officially informed the public to come and attend the show since he had prepared to entertain them in the weekend.

It was very massive that a big crowed turned up and cheered him up which Brought in love for the fellow Karamoja artists.

It is to our attention that, Uganda and the world at large should recognise and prepare to host big Concerts at this part of the country by working together with the current Music promoters like #Promoter_Jemo who heads #Jemoz_Promotionz Moroto.
